LOOP music video - Fermion

Working for Bluman Associates and alongside director Ben Unwin, we shot this music video at milkit Studios in North London.

Filming inside milkit Studios, we took advantage of the pre-calibrated XR stage and filmed a number of shots on it. This gave us the advantage of putting the actor in otherworldly spaces without the need for green screen.

We combined the XR workflow with Nvidias "Virtual Background" SDK which allowed us to mask the performer in real-time and in post allowing post-FX to be applied exclusively on him or the background.

The native support of this SDK in Notch gave us an incredible level of freedom. Looks and effects could be previewed during the shoot and then worked on and refined during post-production.
Notch's GPU-powered render engine meant that in post-production there was little to no downtime at any given moment. We could provide real-time previews and render out edits in minutes rather than hours.
